Our story
The journey began back in 1984, when our founder Keith was introduced to Country Holidays, once the UK's largest holiday cottage letting agency, at a time when people booked their cottage holiday from a brochure. Their owners needed insurance that actually covered a holiday letting, and standard home insurance just wasn’t suitable. It didn’t cover a property that can stands empty for weeks, then fills with guests the next.
So we built a policy that did. Since 1984, that's been our whole focus: specialist insurance for holiday homes, covering the risks that come with owning and letting one out.
